Celebrate!!!

Today I have been with my hubby for 18 years!! He told me he loved me for the first time
on memorial day 1994 and 4 years to the day later, we were married! It has been a crazy 18 years filled with lots of laughter, tears, and of course love! We were just kids when we met and now that our oldest son is nearing the age we were, it amazes me even more! How lucky we are to find each other! I look back and I wouldn't change a thing! What are you celebrating?

Balloon wreath!

In honor of my sons 13th birthday, we're having a water party! The big splashdown to 13! What better way to dec out the entrance than with a water balloon wreath! I started out with a 12 inch Styrofoam wreath that I sliced in half to lay flat against the door. Plus, I can use the other half for another wreath... BONUS!!! Then I used plain Elmer's glue spread on with a plastic knife to attach the water balloons to the wreath! I can't wait to hang it!

I still need to attach the ribbon!  Stop by soon to see the final product!

Open for buisness!!!

So I am finally open officially open for buisness!!  Last night I set up my first party collection up for sale.  I made it for my son Aaron who will be 13 in just a few short weeks.  Here it is:

I am so proud of this collection!  I love the vibrant citrus tones and the water graphics are exactly how I invisioned them.  It's perfect for kids of any age or even adults! The entire collection can be purchased now through my etsy shop which can be found here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/99696225/diy-printable-pool-party-package  It can be bought as a package or a la carte.

Now that I have launched, I plan on adding new parties to my shop at least once a month.  I'm already working on adding 3 more themes this week and have 2 in mind for next month.  I am so excited to see Lil Party Animals become a reality!!
Look for more ideas soon for making the Splashdown party a huge success!

I want to send my deepest thanks to my wonderful group of friends and family who have always asked when I would finally do this.  The day is here!  I can only say that i would have never done this with out you!  Let the party begin!

Milk and Cookies anyone?

Yes please!!!! When my friends little girl turned 1, I jumped at the chance to help out with the party planning! Having 4 boys, I was thrilled to be able to work on something pink! These are some of the pictures from the party:

Natalia's cookie shop:  We set out playdough and cookie cutters to keep the kiddos entertained.  They had a blast!

The cookie jar bar.  Cookie Jar labels, recipe instruction cards and ingredients labels will be available for purchase on my etsy shop www.lilpartyanimals.etsy.com

The cutest cake ever!!

Milk, Chocolate milk and Fraps.  The labels are part of my collection!

The birthday mommy emptied Starbucks frap bottles to make these adorable drinking glasses.  Pure genius!

We filled these buckets with yummy additions like coconut, walnuts, chocolate chips and more so that the guest could make their own take home treat! What a great idea!

Aren't these homemade chef hats amazing?  The models are pretty cute too!

Countdown to Splashdown!

So my son is turning 13 in 4 short weeks and he's finally decided on a theme!!!  Splashdown to 13!!!  Since it's usually over 100 degrees by his birthday, he's inviting a bunch of his friends over for an all out, no holds bar water gun/balloon extravaganza!! I'm already so excited!!!  I'm working on the invite and other party goods as we speak.  I'll post them as soon as I'm done! :)
